Description

  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced

For the sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ⅔ cup water

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced sirloin steak into your slow cooker.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced ginger, minced garlic, and honey until well combined.
  3. Pour this sauce mixture over the steak in the slow cooker evenly.
  4. Securely cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat for 4-6 hours or until you find that the beef has become tender and flavorful.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving time arrives, add a cornstarch-water mixture to thicken up your sauce while stirring gently.
  6. For remaining cooking duration after adding cornstarch mix on high heat setting.
